A taste of Spring

Nothing says Springtime like a fluffy baby lamb, so I was super excited when one of my favorite kids wanted to bring her little lamb in for a birthday photo shoot! A few of the shots are here, with a few more on our facebook page.

My poor, poor kitty.

My kitty Ringo is a gorgeous cat. No really, he is. That is, unless you get the camera out. I know this about him, but stubbornly still try to capture him at his best. I needed a cat model for a project that I'm working on, so I decided to start with him. The results were just too funny not to share...so here he is, my gorgeous but somewhat challenged kitty...

And this is the look I get when he's really, really done with the camera being pointed at him...

But then, miraculously, he managed to redeem himself and look gorgeous again...

All Pet Supplies & Fall Color Appointments!

Seems like a strange combination...but I wanted to give everyone a reminder of two pet photo ops coming up! Our monthly pet photo day at All Pet Supplies North is this Saturday, August 26 from 10am to 2pm. This is one you don't want to miss– we will not have a photo day in September, as DogFest falls on the same day so we will be there with our booth. This cool weather we've been having has everyone looking forward to Fall! We are now booking "Fall Color" appointments, and the schedule is filling up fast. If you've been waiting for the leaves to change to get your outdoor pet or family portraits, now is the time to get it scheduled. Pet Photo Day Reminder & a Sneak Peek!

Don't forget that this coming Saturday, March 28 is our monthly Pet Photo Day at All Pet Supplies North. Check out our website for full details or give us a call if you have any questions. As usual, we'll be there from 10am to 5pm and you don't need an appointment. Our background feature this time is for Easter, with several fun Easter looks to choose from along with a few "everyday" looks as well. I hope to see you there! Photos from the APS Pet Photo Day

We had so much fun last Saturday at All Pet Supplies! Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day, including the funniest bulldog puppy photo that I have ever taken (at the end of the post). As promised... the funniest bulldog photo you may ever see. This little lady is Hayden, and I really have no idea what made her make that face. I didn't even really see her make it, but when I looked back at the photos, there it was!

I can't believe it, but it's time for Santa photos already! We'll be at All Pet Supplies South all day this Saturday and Sunday doing pet photos with Santa. Foggy Fall Morning

I love Fall. Although Spring is hard to beat... Fall is probably my favorite time to take outdoor photos. It's starting to cool off, and the leaves are just beginning to show a little color. For those of  you who were waiting for some Fall color before booking your outdoor portraits, now's the time! I have a (very) few openings left before the leaves start to fall, so give me a call if you'd like an Autumn session. No post is complete without a photo...so I'll share a few fun ones I took with my dogs over the weekend. When I went to take them for their morning walk on Sunday, I noticed the sunrise shining through the thinning fog....so of course I had to grab the camera and make the pooches pose!!

Molly & Coco

Meet Molly & Coco, two little ladies with huge, happy personalities. Their Mom won the raffle at Sucker Days this summer, and you'll have the chance to get the same photo package at Dog Fest on September 27! It's a great big pet photo package, worth $185, and it's up for grabs at the Dog Fest silent auction. Don't miss your chance to get a great deal and help out the Cruse Dog Park Project (all proceeds from the silent auction items go to benefit the park project!) Here are a few of the shots from Molly & Coco's session....I think you can see how much fun we had!

Abe

I am proud to introduce you to little Abe, an adorable Great Dane puppy. I love all dogs, of course, but large breed puppies hold a special place in my heart. This little guy reminded me so much of my boy Leo when he was a baby...so cute and clumsy and ever the "class clown". So fun! Check him out...

...gone! Totally exhausted- it's not easy being that handsome! Many thanks to Abe and his Mom and Grandma for a fun afternoon!

Greer

Meet Greer, a gorgeous little St. Bernard puppy. She is so adorable and has a very loving and fun personality. I had a wonderful time working with Greer and her Mom, and as you can see below...we got a ton of great photos. I posted quite a few because it was so hard for me to choose favorites.

Greer's Mom came up with an excellent idea. She brought a (very large) stuffed St. Bernard toy and the plan is to photograph Greer with the toy periodically to document her growth. However, Greer did not think this was such a good idea at first. She was a little frightened of the toy.

She eventually warmed up to her polyfill pal, and we got a great portrait of her.

Greer was a sleepy puppy during her shoot. I just love these shots of her patiently waiting for the crazy lady with the camera to be done so she could have a nap!

No puppy photo shoot would be complete without a photo of a zonked out puppy, tired from all the fun of the day...
