Come join us at the annual DogFest...enjoy lots of vendor booths, doggie friends and the ever-popular Dachschund Dash! We'll have a booth, be one of the first 50 to say hello and you'll recieve our special treat bag!

Noon-5pm · Commercial Street, Springfield, MO

Trick or treat! It's the annual pet-friendly trick or treat and carnival on Commercial Street. Enjoy pet vendors, games, trick or treating and a pet parade. Stop by the UTurn Studios booth for some fun games and treats!

HALLOWEEN Pet Photo Day at All Pet Supplies North

Saturday, October 29

10am-2pm · 2845 W Kearney St, Springfield, MO

Come see us at All Pet Supplies North between 10am and 2pm on the last Saturday of October for our special Halloween Pet Photo Day! We'll have fun halloween and fall-themed backdrops and treat bags for pets in costume! As always, there's no sitting fee and you can build your own package from several popular choices - starting at only $20. This past Saturday, I had the pleasure of having a pet photo day at All Pet Supplies Arkansas store in Mountain Home. It was a fun-filled day of meeting new faces. We took lots of holiday and "everyday" pet photos, a few of the favorites are here. Don't forget that the last date for Pet Photos with Santa is this Saturday, November 21 at All Pet Supplies North (in Springfield!). There are still a few appointments left, so give them a call at the store at 417-865-6800 to reserve your time.

It's that time of year...time for lots of Holiday photos and photo events. I've been staying very busy! Here are a few favorites from some recent sessions. Don't forget that this weekend is our first of two Pet Photo With Santa dates. This one is at All Pet Supplies South on Saturday, November 7. You'll need an appointment for this event, please call the store at 877-4711 to reserve your spot.

Last call for Pet Photos with Santa!!

The Pet Photos with Santa were a hit this past Saturday at All Pet Supplies Southside store. We had such a great assortment of pets, families and even a couple of adorable babies (of the human variety). Did you miss it?!? Don't worry- we'll be doing it all over again this coming Saturday at the All Pet Supplies North location. Here are the details:

When: Saturday, November 22, 2008

By appointment from 9am to 4pm

Where: All Pet Supplies North, 2845 W. Kearney Street

Photos: There are several great photo packages to choose from, starting as low as $10. At the South store, our most popular seller were the personalized Holiday cards, available in packs of 10 (with envelopes) for only $15! 

Appointments: There are still appointments available, to reserve your spot call All Pet Supplies North at 417-865-6800.

Below you'll find a few of my favorite pet photos from the day. The background scene will be the same for this coming Saturday and the same Santa too. By the way, is he not the most amazing Santa you've ever seen? Call for your appointment now, this is the last call for Santa photos this year!

And, I've saved the best for last. This is perhaps the funniest picture I've ever taken. Ever. This gorgeous Dalmation puppy, Shelby, was terrified of Santa. Now that is something that VERY rarely happens, because Santa is amazing with the pets and has a huge pet-loving heart. Most dogs go straight for him, but not Shelby. Because it never happens, I was a little befuddled about what to do. I suggested that Shelby pose with her person, and we'd add Santa as a background element. As he was sneaking in between the trees, Shelby was onto my plan and this is the result... When I took the photo, I realized it would be hilarious, but not as hilarious as I found it upon closer inspection. Check out Shelby's face, she was yawning a nervous yawn but it looks like she is yelling for Santa to go away. Too funny!

It's time!!

I can't believe it, but it's time for Santa photos already! We'll be at All Pet Supplies South all day this Saturday and Sunday doing pet photos with Santa. Look for another post tomorrow with full details and an exclusive sneak preview of this years' backdrop.
