Photos from All Pet Supplies & Bark for Life!

Here are a few favorites from All Pet Supplies last weekend. What's coming up this weekend? Bark for Life, that's what! Bark for Life is part of Relay For Life, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Come out and browse exhibitor and vendor booths and enjoy a stroll with your dog on the Frisco Highline Trail. The event is from 8am til Noon this Saturday, May 1 at the Springfield Trailhead on the Frisco Highline Trail. While you're there, stop by our booth and say hello. We will be there taking photos, with proceeds going to Relay For Life. See you there!

Don't Forget Mother's Day!

Although Mother's Day is a couple of weeks away, it's time to think about it this weekend! This weekends' photo day at All Pet Supplies North will be the last photo event to still get your photos back in time to give to Mom for Mother's Day. So, plan to sneak her favorite furry friend out for a bit on Saturday and come see us! We'll be at All Pet Supplies North on W. Kearney from 10am til 2pm, this Saturday, April 24. Let's begin with one of my favorite canine customers, Greer. You may recognize her from the header of this blog, and also as the star of one of our flyers. Greer has been coming in since she was just a wee little thing, and now she's all grown up and adorable as ever.

Greer now has a spunky little sister named Lulu. These two are the best of friends

It just so happens that sweet little Lulu's birthday fell on our photo day! So her mom brought her cake and birthday hat for a few shots. Lulu was so adorable with her cake, she clearly loved it!

Here's another familiar face that you may remember, this is Captain. He is also the star of another one of our flyers. I just love Captain and the special bond that he and his Mom share.

The "Unblogged"

Sometimes I get so busy that I forget to share some of my favorite shots with everyone. I just cant bear to keep all this cuteness under wraps, so I've decided to start a series of posts called "The Unblogged" - it will be photos that I have meant to share but gotten to busy to post them in a timely fashion. So they may have been taken a little while ago, but they're still great shots! I am excited to compile a post with some of my favorite shots from last year that I didn't get to blog...but for now here are a few from the past month or so that I haven't posted yet...

First we have the amazing Miss Ellie, she's a young Morkie who wears her hair in a Schnauzer type cut - too cute. She's full of life and personality, and she lives a fabulous and pampered lifestyle with a Mom that adores everything about her. I adored everything about her too and had such a fun time working with her. Thanks Miss Ellie!

And then we have a few of the furry mugs from the March Pet Photo Day at All Pet Supplies North. If you'd like to see your very own cute furry little one on our blog, bring them in to one of our upcoming photo dates, we've got two coming up soon! This Saturday, April 17 we will be at Pet Warehouse on Kearney and then next weekend we'll be at All Pet Supplies North on Saturday, April 24.

Easter Pet Photos from Fair Grove Veterinary Service

Once again, we had a total blast at the FGVS photo day! This time around, we were there for Easter Pet Photos. The group of pets and their people that came in was so much fun and I heard a lot of funny and touching pet stories that day. There were so many adorable furry faces in front of my lens that I can't share all of my favorite shots here...so there are more on our facebook page!

If you missed the event at Fair Grove, don't worry! We will be at All Pet Supplies North this Saturday, March 27 from 10am til 2pm for one last Pet Photo Event before Easter. We'll have many of the same backgrounds you see here to choose from, along with a few other non-holiday choices.

NEW PRODUCT: Pet Photo Playing Cards!

I am excited to announce that we will have a new product available starting tomorrow at the All Pet Supplies North photo day! You can now order a deck of standard playing cards with your pet's photo! We will be offering them tomorrow for $21 at All Pets. If you can't make it out for photos tomorrow, no worries. You can order them from any future photo session, or with a photo we have taken for you in the past. Stop by and check them out tomorrow if you have a spare moment, they're really cool! We will be at All Pet Supplies North tomorrow (Saturday, February 27) from 10am 'til 2pm, and as always, there's no appointment needed. In addition to the new playing cards we'll also have our regular packages priced at $25, $35 or $50 with no additional sitting fee. The backgrounds will be soft spring colors and a few fun patterns thrown in for good measure.

Photo Day Rescheduled!!!

Tomorrow's photo day at All Pet Supplies North that was scheduled for tomorrow, January 30 has been postponed until next Saturday, February 6. Even though we did not get the horrible winter mess that was predicted, it's still icky enough outside that I think everyone will enjoy themselves much more if we wait until it is nicer out! Hopefully we'll be back to a sunny 50º by next weekend! Give us a call if you have any questions, 417-844-6620.

Hooray for 2010!

OK, so I'm only 18 days late in wishing you all a Happy New Year...but HAPPY NEW YEAR!! nonetheless. I hope it is going well for everyone so far! My blog has been sorely neglected as I have been quite busy with some exciting plans and operations to improve and expand UTurn Studios in 2010! A thousand thank-yous to each and every one of our fabulous clients/friends who helped to make 2009 the best year ever at UTurn! Stay tuned for lots of updates and exciting announcements as we work to improve and add new offerings to make 2010 even better.

Our first photo event of 2010 will be coming up very shortly, on January 30 at All Pet Supplies North. This date will feature some Valentine photo background looks, along with some non-holiday looks for those not yet struck by cupid's arrow! We'll be there from 10am til 2pm, and no appointment is needed. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Last call for Santa, and some favorites from APS Mountain Home

This past Saturday, I had the pleasure of having a pet photo day at All Pet Supplies Arkansas store in Mountain Home. It was a fun-filled day of meeting new faces. We took lots of holiday and "everyday" pet photos, a few of the favorites are here. Don't forget that the last date for Pet Photos with Santa is this Saturday, November 21 at All Pet Supplies North (in Springfield!).
