Photo Day Rescheduled!!!

Tomorrow's photo day at All Pet Supplies North that was scheduled for tomorrow, January 30 has been postponed until next Saturday, February 6. Even though we did not get the horrible winter mess that was predicted, it's still icky enough outside that I think everyone will enjoy themselves much more if we wait until it is nicer out! Hopefully we'll be back to a sunny 50º by next weekend! Give us a call if you have any questions, 417-844-6620.

My poor, poor kitty.

My kitty Ringo is a gorgeous cat. No really, he is. That is, unless you get the camera out. I know this about him, but stubbornly still try to capture him at his best. I needed a cat model for a project that I'm working on, so I decided to start with him. The results were just too funny not to share...so here he is, my gorgeous but somewhat challenged kitty...

And this is the look I get when he's really, really done with the camera being pointed at him...

But then, miraculously, he managed to redeem himself and look gorgeous again...

...literally! Join us for something a little different, a lot fun and all for a great cause! On Groundhog Day, February 2, 2010; we will be participating in a new Relay For Life fundraiser at Fantastic Caverns. It's the Groundhog Mosey, a very unique opportunity to walk through Fantastic Caverns. We all know Fantastic Caverns as America's Only Ride-Through Cave, but now you have the unique opportunity to walk through, exploring and enjoying at your own pace. The best part, in my opinion, is that no matter how cold it is that day it will be a warm and cozy 60º inside the cave! We will be there taking photos, and for an addition donation to Relay For Life, you can even have your photo made with "Greta the Groundhog"!! Click here to get registered, the fee is only $25 and includes the Mosey through the Cave, a gourmet oatmeal breakfast sponsored by the Doubletree Hotel and a fabulous event shirt designed by yours truly.

Hooray for 2010!

OK, so I'm only 18 days late in wishing you all a Happy New Year...but HAPPY NEW YEAR!! nonetheless. I hope it is going well for everyone so far! My blog has been sorely neglected as I have been quite busy with some exciting plans and operations to improve and expand UTurn Studios in 2010! A thousand thank-yous to each and every one of our fabulous clients/friends who helped to make 2009 the best year ever at UTurn! Stay tuned for lots of updates and exciting announcements as we work to improve and add new offerings to make 2010 even better.

Our first photo event of 2010 will be coming up very shortly, on January 30 at All Pet Supplies North. This date will feature some Valentine photo background looks, along with some non-holiday looks for those not yet struck by cupid's arrow! We'll be there from 10am til 2pm, and no appointment is needed. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone there!
