Dog Fest - only two days away!!

One of Springfield's best dog-related events of the year is coming up this Saturday, September 27. This is one you don't want to miss, there's FREE admission, the Dachshund Dash, a silent auction with wonderful items, and TONS of dog-related vendors to visit with. It all takes place from 10am to 2:30 pm at the Chesterfield Family Center Park. This is such a fun event, and best of all, it benefits the Cruse Dog Park project. While you're there, stop by the UTurn Studios booth. We'll be handing out our popular "doggie takeout boxes" to the first 100 visitors to our booth, and make sure to bid on our silent auction item. It's a photo session worth $185! The weather forecast for Saturday is beautiful, so it's a great time to take Fido for an outing. Hope to see you all there!

Mandy & Polly

While most of my photo sessions involve smaller pets like dogs and cats, I am always thrilled when I get a chance to photograph larger animals like horses. When my friend Mandy got a new horse, I couldn't wait to get a photo session scheduled for them. We finally got our chance, the day was dreary and overcast but we still managed to get some great shots. Here are a few favorites...

Meet Molly & Coco, two little ladies with huge, happy personalities. Their Mom won the raffle at Sucker Days this summer, and you'll have the chance to get the same photo package at Dog Fest on September 27! Greer at All Pet Supplies

My loyal blog visitors will recognize Greer, another one of my very favorite pooches (shhh, don't tell my dogs!). Her Mom has been bringing her in to my photo dates at All Pet Supplies monthly to document her speedy growth. She's a gorgeous dog in both appearance and spirit, and I think you'll agree; very photogenic!

Captain- sneak peek!!

Captain is one of my favorite dogs of all time. He has been coming in yearly for birthday pics...he's now three years old and as amazing as ever. If any dog could talk, it would be Captain. Just look at all the expressions he makes...a pet photographer's dream dog! :-)
