Springtime at Pet Warehouse

This past Saturday was our monthly photo event at Pet Warehouse. This time I set up a cheery  springtime theme. If you missed it, don't worry! We are set up there taking photos on the last Saturday of every month. Check the photo events tab on our website to keep up on the latest info for public photo days. Here are a few of my favorite photos from Saturday...

The Beautiful Miss BB

Meet BB, isn't she gorgeous? I love her coloring, she reminds me of a wild bobcat especially with those adorable little tufts of fur that stick up off the top of her ears.

Fun at the bowling alley...

Today I took my photography class to the bowling alley for a photo field trip. I love 1940's & 50's decor, and this alley is a real gem. It is hard to find anywhere that still has this much original decor. I had a great time and I hope all my students did too. Many thanks to Sunshine Lanes for welcoming us, and allowing us free reign of the alley for photo taking! Here are a few my shots from the day...

Happy second day of spring!

OK, so I'm a little behind. I meant to write a "Happy first day of spring" post yesterday, replete with green grass and the first flowers of the season...but never got around to it. So, happy second day of spring! My boy Leo was overjoyed about the arrival of his favorite season, so he bounced around in a glorious display of dorkyness...

The funniest puppy ever...

Gus-Gus, who could also be called the puppy of many expressions, came out for a session this past Friday. He kept me in stitches the entire time, he was so fun to work with. His person, Terilyn, was very cool too and it was clear to me that they share a special bond. Many thanks to Terilyn for bringing this little ball of fun out to the studio. The whole session was a absolute riot, take a look:

The serious side of Gus-Gus (seriously cute, that is):

He was a little unsure of sitting up  on the ottoman, and gave us this extremely perplexed expression as his tiny bum was slowly sliding off the back.

The "does it get any cuter than this? face.":

I swear he was actually laughing here:

And last but not least...more stinky liver treats please!

The event is hosted by the Queen City Sertoma Club here in Springfield, MO and proceeds benefit the Springfield Boys and Girls Clubs. Mark your calendars, the event will be April 5 at 6pm at the Springfield Tower Club. To get tickets and read more about the event, visit the Sertoma club website.  Don't miss it, it's going to be a blast!
