The "Unblogged"

Sometimes I get so busy that I forget to share some of my favorite shots with everyone. I just cant bear to keep all this cuteness under wraps, so I've decided to start a series of posts called "The Unblogged" - it will be photos that I have meant to share but gotten to busy to post them in a timely fashion. So they may have been taken a little while ago, but they're still great shots! I am excited to compile a post with some of my favorite shots from last year that I didn't get to blog...but for now here are a few from the past month or so that I haven't posted yet...

First we have the amazing Miss Ellie, she's a young Morkie who wears her hair in a Schnauzer type cut - too cute. She's full of life and personality, and she lives a fabulous and pampered lifestyle with a Mom that adores everything about her. I adored everything about her too and had such a fun time working with her. Thanks Miss Ellie!

And then we have a few of the furry mugs from the March Pet Photo Day at All Pet Supplies North. If you'd like to see your very own cute furry little one on our blog, bring them in to one of our upcoming photo dates, we've got two coming up soon! This Saturday, April 17 we will be at Pet Warehouse on Kearney and then next weekend we'll be at All Pet Supplies North on Saturday, April 24.

The Jacks of Countryside Kennels

These adorable little furballs of energy are the official mascots of Countryside Kennels in Buffalo, MO. Check out Countryside's website, it is a great boarding facility that is conveniently located on Hwy. 65 between Fair Grove & Buffalo. My own fur crew stays there when I'm away, and I couldn't be more pleased with the care they receive. Meet the mascots:

Pet Portrait Special Unveiled this Weekend!!

This Saturday, June 13, we'll unveil a new pet portrait special at Bark In The Park!! We'll have a booth at this annual event in Springfield's Sequiota Park. Registration for the dog walk begins at 7:30 am, and the walk begins at 8:00 am. After you return from the walk, you can visit all of the booths and stick around for the kids' dog show! I know it will be a fun day, as always, and you won't want to miss out on our new special. We'll begin taking appointments for the special on Saturday, with a bonus if you book at Bark In The Park. So, are you itching to know what the special is?? Here's a hint... :-)

Molly & Coco

Meet Molly & Coco, two little ladies with huge, happy personalities. Their Mom won the raffle at Sucker Days this summer, and you'll have the chance to get the same photo package at Dog Fest on September 27! It's a great big pet photo package, worth $185, and it's up for grabs at the Dog Fest silent auction. Don't miss your chance to get a great deal and help out the Cruse Dog Park Project (all proceeds from the silent auction items go to benefit the park project!) Jan's Grooming

Last week I had the pleasure of setting up a photo day for Jan's Grooming and School and what a day it was! It was like a pet photographer's dream...lots of dogs and cats, all perfectly groomed and very happy to be there. Jan and her team are all very talented groomers, as you'll see in the photos below. Bark In The Park!

For everybody wondering if Bark in the Park is being cancelled due to the torrential rains we got today...the answer is NO! As of right now, the forecast is still for sunny and warm weather for tomorrow (Saturday, June 14) and Bark in the Park is on! Registration begins at 7:30 am at Sequiota Park. You'll want to stick around and enjoy the park until 10 am for the Kid's Dog Show! There will be several vendors on hand, including yours truly! Visit the UTurn Studios booth and pick up one of our famous doggie take-out boxes and be sure to enter the raffle. All entry money goes directly to the Cruse Dog Park Project. There are many fabulous prizes, and the Grand Prize winner will receive a photo session & print package from UTurn Studios!!! YAY!

Arf-Fest this Sunday!

 I'm so excited for this weekend's Arf-fest event! Be sure to stop by the UTurn Studios booth when you are there, the first 50 visitors will receive a fun doggie "take-out" box, complete with dog biscuits and a coupon for a free 8x10! This will be a fun and exciting event, complete with dog parades and contests, pet artists, a vendor area and much more. All of this takes place on the afternoon of Sunday, April 27 from 1pm to 6pm on Historic Commercial Street in downtown Springfield. The festivities will surround the Jefferson Avenue Footbridge area. Ladies, mark your calendars!

I had the pleasure of photographing the bachelors and handymen for this year's "Men About Town" event. The event is hosted by the Queen City Sertoma Club here in Springfield, MO and proceeds benefit the Springfield Boys and Girls Clubs. Mark your calendars, the event will be April 5 at 6pm at the Springfield Tower Club.
