Sam's Sneak Peek

Sam modeled for us last week at a shoot at for the Springfield Pets Guide. During the shoot, I snapped a few photos of Sam alone. He's just so gorgeous, I could have photographed him all day! Many thanks to Jenifer Kimberlin of Boxer/Schnauzer Rescue of the Ozarks for bringing Sam out, and to Hartman Farms for proving the beautiful location. And, of course, thanks to Sam for being handsome and very patient! Here's a peek at a couple of his photos...

Where have I been??

Whew, I didn't realize how long it has been since I posted on my blog! I have been staying very busy. Here are a few shots from some sessions I've had in the past couple of weeks:

High School Senior Portraits are what I've been the busiest with lately, it's almost time for the yearbook deadline for many local schools. Stephanie is one of my recent seniors, and she brought her cute and cuddly little guy Payton with her. Of course, he didn't mind to steal the spotlight for a few shots! :)
I have been lucky enough to photograph Paisley the beagle and her family for the last three years. They recently came out for their session and Paisley struck some adorable poses in exchange for some yummy treats.
Meet Chicki, I just adore this tiny one. She was rescued as a very small puppy, abandoned along a busy Springfield street. Her front legs are deformed, but it doesn't slow her down a bit! She zoomed all around my studio having a blast, and then was more than happy to settle down and pose on her "princess pillow". Chicki is so loving and has such a beautiful personality (and face!) What a doll.
And a few from the August 29th photo day at All Pet Supplies, we had a great turnout that day! A few of the furry faces are here:

I will be posting a reminder on the blog later, but don't forget that our September Photo Day at All Pet Supplies is cancelled due to DogFest. We will be at DogFest on September 26th, and back to All Pets on October 31 for a SUPER fun Halloween photo day! Looking forward to seeing all the pooches in costume!

All Pet Supplies & Fall Color Appointments!

Seems like a strange combination...but I wanted to give everyone a reminder of two pet photo ops coming up! Our monthly pet photo day at All Pet Supplies North is this Saturday, August 26 from 10am to 2pm. This is one you don't want to miss– we will not have a photo day in September, as DogFest falls on the same day so we will be there with our booth. Give us a call at 417-844-6620 if you have any questions about the photo day.

This cool weather we've been having has everyone looking forward to Fall! We are now booking "Fall Color" appointments, and the schedule is filling up fast. If you've been waiting for the leaves to change to get your outdoor pet or family portraits, now is the time to get it scheduled. Email me at info@uturnstudios.com or give us a call to reserve your spot.

Cleo

Meet the lovely miss Cleo, a stunning white boxer with brilliant blue eyes. Cleo is available for adoption through Boxer/Schnauzer Rescue of the Ozarks. She is one of the cuddliest boxers that I have ever met, she snuggled up to me a just few minutes after I met her. I just absolutely adore this dog and hope that someone out there will give her all the love she deserves! For more information about adopting Cleo, you can give me a call and I'll put you in touch with the Rescue, or you can email them directly at BSROzarks@gmail.com

Congratulations, a Reminder and oodles of Cuteness :-)

This is my catch-all blog post for a busy week! First of all, Congratulations to Bella the Pug (see previous post), she won the 417 Magazine Ugliest Dog Contest and will be featured in the October issue. Thanks to everyone who voted for her!

Also, don't forget that this Saturday is Pet Photo Day at All Pet Supplies North. We have new hours for the summer, so come anytime between 10am & 2pm. No appointment is needed. Give me a call at 417-844-6620 if you have any questions.

And finally, the cuteness. My good friend Julie came to town to get a Morkie puppy, and luckily I got to take some photos of her before she's whisked away to her new home in Wyoming! Here are my two favorites, any more would cause a major cuteness overload ;)
